You are adorable and so inspiring! I happened upon one of your YouTube videos yesterday when I was searching for weight loss inspiration. Your message really struck a chord with me. And I agree with all the advice you gave in that video and just needed the kick in the pants to be honest with myself and get back on track. THANK YOU!
Hi, Josie
Your website is so original and you too!

Straight with no chaser, huh? I’ve been battling with this issue for many years. Part of the problem is that my overall health is good. My weight isn’t an issue with my doctors. I give myself mixed messages about my desire to exercise and eat right as being for vanity purposes. It used to be, like back in the day when my only concern was belly fat after the birth of my first child. Twenty years later, it’s beyond that. Now I’m dealing with the over 40 weight gain! Now my 21 daughter is my new inspiration. She is awesome with holding herself accounatable
I’m doing some self-talk to ensure myself that it’s okay to work hard for a great shaped body. I’m not a sedentary person, besides the hours I sit at a desk. But even then, I walk over lunch and try to get up and move throughout the day. However, what I do is not enough to get my body in the shape that I want it to be.I make the decision and then my wonderful husband brings me sweet treats at night! I know I can’t blame him for bringing the treats. It’s up to me to not eat them or ask him to bring me healthy treats. But, oh, how I do like those chocolately delights? Of course, you’re right, though. It’s time to put up or shut up. No one can do this for me and I don’t have to keep sitting on the sidelines watching others achieve their goals while making excuses for not achieving my own. Thanks for inspiring me. And I will be watching this video frequently.

Thank you so much for your tips! You look phenomenal. I agree that reading health and fitness magazines keeps you motivated – it’s like a constant reminder that I am on a mission to get fit and lose weight. One thing that I found was not helpful was continuing to count calories throughout several years. I found myself miserable constantly looking at how many calories certain foods had. I think that after a few months of counting, it’s best to use your own judgement and approximate rather than be super-strict. After all, happiness is our priority 🙂
Thanks for your share, it very useful.
Congratulations!
Article very good
Inspirational, just at the beginning of my journey and I am holding very loose goals “be better than the average you were a month ago. One caveat is that a person should have high expectations of themselves, but they shouldnt beat themselves up if they full off the wagon, just get back on and carry on.
