Hey everyone! This is a follow up to my video: “How I Lost Weight Fast in 8 Weeks” (see video link below). If you’ve been lurking around this blog for awhile now, you know darn well I refuse to give up the “sinister” foods that I love. I won’t eat like a bird for the sake of weight loss. BUT I have still achieved results I am very proud of.

    Your process works. When i started, it was that i tried to add one new good habit every week, or ate one good-for-me item before i ate stuff that wasn’t so good. Eventually i didn’t have enough room for the not-so-good stuff, i had filled up on good stuff. Slow and steady wins this race.

      You are right about the not-so-good. There’s barely any room for it. Yet there will always be a VIP spot reserved for cake slices in my stomachs. 😉

    This is why you rock. It’s totally true. Changing a lifestyle is what makes the difference long term and building little things and changes make for huge changes over time. I’m noticed over the summer when I let a lot of little things slip the weight starts to creep back. So – back to basics and you start at it again. I want to have a healthy life, not a miserable calorie counting existence 🙂

    Love the honesty of this! And you’re right, it’s all about having your own self-control and making smart choices…no reason to completely deprive yourself of the good things in life. For you, it’s movie popcorn – for me it’s wine! 🙂

    Thank you Lord. Finally found someone that understands that I don’t have to give up good foods to still stay in shape. I understand I do have to exercise, and change my eating habits step by step. I was on a dieting rut, and gained so much weight back, because, I deprived myself of the feel good foods. Thanks Josie so much for your honesty, and your videos. I subscribed to the Jake videos you suggested. I was surprised I was able to complete Day 1, I’m going to incorporate your dance exercises throughout the day. Also, movement is the key. I’m also a Breast Cancer survivor, and need to get back to the joy I felt two years ago in being a survivor. I’m so glad I found your web page.
