This thing is pretty awesome. On my recent visit to the Dole test kitchen, I came away uber-impressed with the Yonanas phenomenon.
But what is it, exactly? Yonanas is ice cream makin’ with your favorite fruits. There’s no dairy involved and no sugar required. Just take your favorite fruit, give it a quick freeze for about an hour, then throw it into your Yonana for a healthy frozen dessert that has the consistency of soft serve ice cream.
It literally takes seconds to create ice cream with your Yonana. Watch the full video for the Yonanas demo, plus easy clean up, recipes and key buying tips.
Doesn’t that sound delicious? I’ve made room for my Yonana next to my ninja blender and Keurig coffee maker. Look at me gettin’ all fancy with the kitchen gadgets…
I’ve seen this on another blog and I am so intrigued by it! Love the whole concept.

it’s definitely an excellent concept! I forgot to mention it, but the machine is really lightweight and compact.

It’s definitely worth saving up for, Mimi. Do it! Do it!

I think this would be great. Easy way to take all the fruit that is about to end up too ripe and make ice cream.

your Cafe’ Kids would just love this ((yes, I just re-named your childrens)), and they’d get a kick out of helping make the ice cream, too.

this looks like all kinds of awesome. I don’t do it in my blender often since it makes a giant mess and I’m too lazy to clean it up. This intrigues me…

I had the Yonana cleaned up in about 60 seconds. No joke. You should give in to your lazy side and allow your intrigue to let you be yonana-ing.
HOW COOL IS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is it expensive??? Did I miss that & it was in the video – maybe I was too busy drooling! 😉

The average price is around $49, but I’ve seen them priced higher. Just shop around because I saw an online deal for $29 the other day. Guess that was a holiday special, but keep looking!
You got it!! Love it!!!

heck yeah, Cathy! I freaking LOVE this thing!!
I have a recipe for this, but just using the blender, which I’ve been meaning to try. i’m always cold so i don’t eat frozen things too often! But I’ll get around to it at some point. 🙂 Looks cool though, if you don’t have a tiny postage stamp sized kitchen that won’t fit any more appliances. yum.
