- 6 apples
- 6 celery ribs
- 2 cups grapes
- 3 cups spinach
- 2 small handfuls cilantro
- 10 carrots
Can you imagine gnawing all this off a plate so your body can suck in the nutrients? There ain’t no way. But juicing is the answer!
I set the final results up against a 1/2 gallon carton so you can get a good idea of how much all of this yielded. I made extra today as a means of doing a pseudo juice fast.
PSEUDO JUICE FAST PLAN FOR THE DAY
- Until Noon: hot tea only, blending Oolong & Mate teas from Teavana
- Early Afternoon: juice slurping
- Late Afternoon: Cajun-Baked Tilapia with green peppers & onions
- Snack: more juice slurping
- Dinner: Curry chicken with broccoli, carrots & onions
No sugar. No carbs. No dairy. Not today.
With my current focus on leaning out and muscle building, I can’t deny myself the protein my body needs, which is why this isn’t a strict juice/veggie fast.
My new juicer is freaking wonderful. OMG, why did I wait so long to buy it!? It’s the same exact brand & model the guy used in the Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead movie. Besides that being a huge selling point for me, I took the time to read countless reviews, comparing different brands and models. I’m very happy with my purchase.
Juicing is not only delicious, but it can be an empowering aspect of your diet to combat excess greediness being in control. My birthday is coming soon (February 17th!) so there’s an appropriate time coming up for me to revel in the delicious of sweets. It’s just not today. Because I’m juicing, baby.
