It might sound weird, but here’s what to do…

chicken breast Easy Food Prep Ideas for Flat Abs

Cut up the chicken, submerge in a pot of boiling broth, turn down to medium heat and sprinkle in your desired seasonings. The breasts will be done in about 10 minutes. Faster than baking! If you have more time, a slower simmer will infuse even more of the tasty broth & seasonings into the chicken. Use your chicken preps for sammiches, salads and just about anything else you can think of. But don’t boil the heck out of the meat. Not unless leatherized body parts of chickens is on your menu.

Courtesy of a sweet potato! Even the largest potatoes will work. They can easily be split in half after cooking for two day’s worth of meal preps. You can boil the potato or bake it. The skin will fall right off when it’s done, so no need to worry about peeling. I like to eat my potato plain, but cinnamon and nutmeg taste epic on it, too.

Let’s use broccoli as an example. I’m not ashamed to tell you that I sometimes use frozen broccoli instead of fresh. It’s ready to cook whenever you are without the threat of becoming brown & shriveled in the back of your fridge. In the pic right here, I cooked up enough for an entire week, then incorporated the broccoli into my breakfasts and lunches. I’m living ‘dat veggie life, yo.

No need to give me the side-eye treatment. It’s actually is pretty darn fishtastic. Cajun Baked Tilapia takes less than 5 minutes to prep and will bake itself while you’re in the other room doing ab exercises ‘n stuff. And will you look at that! Here’s my Tilapia paired with the sweet potato and broccoli. Looks real fancy but its freakishly simple. (click on the pic to enlarge the freakishness)

I’m a big fan of the frozen veggie. It doesn’t languish in the vegetable drawer and it cooks up quick!

Frozen veggies are okay as long as what is frozen is not processed (chemical additives). I buy kale in bulk and put it in the freezer so that it keeps longer. Freezer is not harmful unless it is done for long periods of time. Yeah to the veggie life.
