Hmmmm. Let’s see here…. I rate this greediness a 7 out of 10 on the Greedy-O-Meter scale. First, Greedy Kid #1 made dinner: Fish Tacos and Beans & Rice. It was good that I gave birth to that gremlin. If I hadn’t got knocked up with her 20 years ago, I never would’ve had this meal.
Then it was Trader Joe’s Apple Pie. Bought on a whim. Pretty tasty. The pie crust, in particular, was most delicious.
The greediest part came in 10 minutes later when I decided to indulge in a homemade “Dairy Queen” blizzard that the husband randomly made. He pulled out his new immersion blender to whip me up a cookies & cream snow storm. Only two ingredients: Turkey Hill ice cream and Oreo Cookies. Much tastier than a real Dairy Queen blizzard. It’s not that I couldnt’ say “no”. I just didn’t wanna.
So there ya have it. Mexican food and TWO desserts. This impressive greediness would’ve been rated higher (maybe a 9?), but my portion control was fabulous. I’ve truly been working hard at controlling the quantities of food that I inhale; also been training extra hard these last two weeks and ate clean, so I don’t consider the foods from yesterday to have derailed my progress.
I ate it. Enjoyed every damn bite. I invite myself to be greedy again in another few weeks.
Yesterday’s training was plyometrics and bodyweight work for the legs & booty. Today I’m hitting the speed rope, plus biceps & shoulders. Pick up those weights and stay sexy, my friend. XO!
