Since I had to get my meal plan written up, I figured, why not share it with you! My eats during the day tend to be kinda redundant, yet uber-healthy. As for my dinners, I gnaw on whatever I’ve planned for the family. I’m in the process of weaning them INTO healthiness, so you’ll see that my dinners lean towards traditional.
My workouts will focus on strength and HIIT cardio. And although I might sneak in a Hershey’s Kiss or two, there are no sweets in this week’s plan. I inhaled large slices of birthday cake this past weekend, which means no further indulgences for at least two weeks.

…and now I leave you with a rude conversation as spoken by Greedy Kid #1…
GK#1: Mom, you look hot.
Me: Oh wow. I do!? Thanks!
GK #1: No mom. Not THAT kind of hot. You look too warm in your clothes. Like you’re wearing too many layers or something.

Thanks for sharing this!! I do the same kind of thing – a lot of repetition from day to day with my meals up until dinner, then a more family-friendly dinner! Snacks of “tea” would not do for me!!
One of the downsides to working at home now is being 10′ away from my kitchen. This is reminding me I need to cut out the snacking and tighten things up.

Good job meal planning! I have a loose meal plan for this week because we have a good bit of leftovers in the fridge from this weekend and some produce that needs to get used. This week is about eating what we have!

Your menu sounds great. My doctor wants me to drink more green tea but I can’t do it. Tastes like old a** to me. As it is I drink only OJ and decaf black tea – but she wants me to lose the black tea and take up with the green tea. Any suggestions?
**And no, I have absolutely no idea what old a** tastes like. but it did beg the question when I wrote it didn’t it? ha! Just an expression. Trust me.

Green tea is an acquired taste. The only reason I was encouraged to keep slurping was for the health benefits. But now I appreciate the taste & all. I will send you some of my green tea to try out, so look for it in the mail. You’ll probably think it’s nasty, but still… I beg of you to slurp it a try. My favorite Ito En Green Tea is a top brand manufactured in Japan. Costco made a deal with Ito En to sell their tea here in the States, which is why I can easily get it here. xo

Tastiest green tea I ever had. Hails straight from Japan. You mean to tell me you’ve been left out of the Ito family tea empire? You bettah look into that!

You are so disciplined! I need to get on your meal plan because this long weekend I ate out three times. Yes, I kept within my WW points but still my body is missing my fruits. veggies, and good eating. Too much sodium in restaurant eating! I’m looking into Ito En green tea as well–time to get back on track.

Ito En is even better than the fancy Teavana green tea. I was shockingly surprised. But as I told another reader-friend…Green is an acquired taste.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that conversation with Greedy Kid #1. That made me laugh. Keep up the great work =)
Good job with the planning. I find I do the same kinda thing with breakfasts and lunches planned and home supper with my husband a bit more varied, but still healthy. I do OK unless life throws me a curveball and my shcedule gets all goofed up (like this weekend, ahem. That was crazy busy business). When I am over-hungry and rushed I resort to fast cookable crappy food like tortellinis and pizza…which yes are delicious, and I don’t chow my face off…but are definitely NOT on my healthified diet plan. In the end tho – sanity and survival are the key and i know a few off days don’t halt everything.

I eat the same thing for breakfast every weekday…and now i’ve been just eating for lunch what i had for dinner the night before. forces me to pack the lunch the nite before too, which gives me a smidge more time in the morning! i never think of my tea as a snack though, more of just something i’m constantly drinking, along with water, and a good excuse to get up from my desk.
