Larabar Is For Greedy People

Are you a greedy person? Check! Do you love tasty food? Check! Do you strive to avoid highly processed crap with preservatives and additives? CHECK!

Then good gawd, you need a Larabar. Their new Chocolate Chip Cherry Torte Larabar is a flavor fantasy come true.

Whether you’re a healthy-eating newbie or a Larabar-gnawing veteran, you need to try this new flavor. But it may not be safe to eat your Larabar around other greedy people. You could be attacked… so stay safe.

Larabars are raw, gluten free, vegan/vegetarian deliciousness made from simple ingredients. Their website proclaims that “Larabar is a delicious blend of unsweetened fruits, nuts and spices. Made from whole food, each flavor contains no more than nine ingredients.”

I’m totally down with that. Now would somebody please send me a new football helmet?

Coincidence! I tried that new flavor just tonight. Hubby eats a Larabar just about every day. We went to Whole Foods and snapped up flavors we hadn’t tried. I am fond of the brownie one. He really likes the apple pie, lemon, and any of the chocolate flavors. I’m fond of the Jocalat Chocolate mint. I am eager to try the key lime.

I can’t have them as often as hubby–I used to be prediabetic, so the carbs are a bit of an indulgence for me–but if I’m gonna recommend a snack bar to folks who aren’t carb-restricted, I’d recommend Larabar. No crap additives, and every one I’ve tried has been delicious. But dang, I love the new cherry/choc torte one. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Addictive.

You are an absolute nut! With a lovely voice and you don’t look too bad in the helmet. giggle.

How much sodium, dare I ask. It sounds nummy. But it might be your lilting voice that is winning me over.

Jody, I totally feel ya on the homemade bars. There are only a handful of bar brands that I will buy anymore for me and family. Larabar is one of them. ;D

Hey girl! Target has the best price, but I can’t always get there, so I just suck it up and buy them from wherever because they’re THAT good. Read a Larabar label and you’ll understand what I mean!

@yumyucky, I guess I’ll have to give them a try! :D

I wasn’t going to try one of these, but momma always told me to listen to any chick in a helmet. Now I have to go find one.

I’m sorry Josie, but it sounds like LARDbar lol. And can I just say, I think you would have been safer eating it WITHOUT the helmet on, because you would have been able to stick it straight in your gob before anyone had a chance to attack you, as opposed to struggling to get it past the helmet into your mouth ;-)
