Tasting! Fiber Plus Cinnamon Oat Crunch
August 1st, 2010 • 18 Comments | Leave a Comment »
Today I played some naked badminton, but only my feet were the naked part. I frolicked shoeless in the grass as the opponents suffered from my superior racketing swings. Kellogg’s Fiber Plus Cinnamon Oat Crunch gives me that happy naked feeling.
When a cereal tasting makes me look forward to buying more, you know that food is special. Cinnamon Oat Crunch is NOT like the nastiness that is Cinnamon Toast Crunch, because it’s not sugary overload. Nor it is a flavor knockoff of Kashi Cinnamon Harvest, because the cinnamon flavor is not inconsistent from one bite to the next.
This cereal has as much class as a gym rat who happily wipes his dripping pool of sweat off the muscle machines. (I hear that’s important). Cinnamon Oat Crunch is low sugar with only 8 grams, but you don’t feel like you’re missing out on fun. The oats are perfectly cinnamon-spiced. Not too much, not too little, and it totally satisfies your taste buds without taking you to Sugartopia.
Too bad the cinnamon flavor loses power the longer it sits in the milk. But I ain’t mad at ya, Oat Crunch. I love you lots. Now get into my Food Trap so I can chew.

REACTIONS FROM THE TASTE TEST CREW
Health-hater Husband: I like this. Nice little cinnamon flavor, ya know. It’s good.
Greedy Kid #3: I don’t want anymore. I’m done.
Greedy Baby ate 3 bowls. Nuff said.
Yum UP! to: Naked sporting events. Like foot wrestling ‘n stuff.
Yuck Down to: Muscles machines (for now). Because I’m into bodyweight exercises.

Ya know, Cinnamon Toast Crunch only has 2 more grams of sugar per serving. Considering it’s the best tasting thing since ever, I’d gladly overdose on it.

Nastiness? I love Cinnamon Toast Crunch! It is the food of the gods. But this looks like a nice replacement.

I love this cereal, too!! Reminds me, also, of a less-sweet CTC.

This is a nice alternative to cinnamon toast crunch – which I find to be a bit overwhelming.

Hmmm. Well…it passes the sugar test. I may just have to buy that next time. The kids will be happy not to have “cheerios, kix, or life” anymore. Good one!

I really like this cereal when I tried it.

that looks SO GOOD!
But I totally hate when the flavor disappears in milk! I often find myself having cereal in a separate container or bowl and then adding my fruit/milk to one bowl, and then adding just a bit of cereal at a time so it keeps it crunchy and flavorful
or…I just eat it dry hahah

I have never eaten a box of cereal in three days. Not being a cereal lover, this one has brought me back to the good ole days. This is “magically delicious, healthy and is a known filler for snacks and the like. Kudos!!!!!!
