Every day at the gym I push myself… If I leave and I’m not drenched in sweat, I’m not happy. I have sooo much weight to lose and I have to take advantage of every workout. I love the gym, so it works out great.

My nephew would LOVE these prizes! Love your site.

You crack me up!  The fact that you painted yourself GREEN and then TOOK PICTURES is simply amazing.  As for “hulking” I will honestly admit I haven’t been doing a very good job when it comes to weight loss goals lately. Nothing like a slump huh?  But it’s time to get back on the wagon!  I’m going to Go Hulk on getting back on track!

And congrats to Julie!  Way to go – 186 is such an awesome accomplishment!

Bravo Hulk Josie – too, too funny! You rock girlie.

As for going hulk – I am doing my damndest to put on weight – sounds silly to a lot of folks but I was 117 a few weeks ago due to my illness and I WANT to put weight on, but have to watch what I eat – I made it to 120.6 lbs this past week and I am thrilled – all the while doing our walks and such with the pups – gotta stay toned too! But not burn all the calories I eat. Trying to lower sodium [which I ROCK at] and be able to eat healthy calories [which I SUCK at] – enough to put weight on is a challenge. I figure by Christmas I will be back at my fighting weight of 135 :) So that is me going all hulk. And I can’t believe you painted yourself green. You are my hero. Seriously.

Oh my goodness, you are too funny! Is that green paint?? AWESOMENESS.

I don’t hulk… Instead I *skulk* away in shame after I’ve read your blog, what with me being a professional couch potato.

I fight constant pain everyday to do what I need to do. Right now that means taking care of my daughter. I will do anything for her, matter how much pain it puts me in! So instead of giving up and sulking all day about my condition I fight and do the chores, starting to do light workouts (abs, 5lb weights) and all the other motherly duties. :)

That is how I Hulk Up and not sulk on my lazy ass!

amanda July 20th, 2010 at 11:23

I hulk by run my ass off all week long. It helps keep my weight in check, allows me to eat my favorite foods, and helps kill boredom.

Totally go hulk!! Everytime I go to the gym I give it my all!! Need to make each time count! Sometimes my pumps are so big that I feel like the hulk LOL

AHAHAHA! You are crazy – that looks like it took a long time to do that face! I usually kick butt until I’m pooped and soaking wet with sweat but lately I’ve been having a hard time igniting my will power fire. I haven’t worked out consistently in a while but have managed to maintain the weight I lost over the last few months (24 lbs) but am by no means ready to stop – still have another 10 lbs or so before I can call it quits; need to hulk it up!!!!!!!!!!!

marisa n July 20th, 2010 at 12:53

PS – Ok, I was thinking that I had no use for those toys and really didn’t want to win them but they would be good motivators – like having a little Josie in the form of Pokie staring me down every day and telling me to get off my lazy butt and go exercise!

I manage (most days) to get my 2 year old and 5 month old to take a nap at the same time so I can work out. I have lost 55lbs of baby weight and only 5 more to pre-baby weight.

i make mini day-to-day goals as well as long term goals, so i can reward myself with something (a new books, movie, manicure, etc.) every time i accomplish one of my “mini” goals..it makes the long-term goal seem so much more realistic

I must say, you make a fantastic hulk!

In other news, as far as the entry, I used to never feel confident enough to walk into the free weight zone at the gym. However, after meeting with a trainer a few times, I now march proudly into that zone, hulk up, and hoist hefty hulk-size weights all over the place!! I also starting taking bodypump because let’s admit, we all have a little hulk in us!!

How I kick my booty?

300 squats on the bosu ball. Sprints. Bench presses. Push-ups. Pull-ups. And then I stretch :) Ahhhh.

Gumby is so old school. LOVE IT.
