Cassandra the Mystical Sugar Maiden

This is a Sugar Sludge Variety Show hosted by Cassandra the Mystical Sugar Maiden. She’s kinda pissed to be representing sugar in a way that encourages you to eat less of it, but the Maiden’s car is in the shop. She needs fast cash, so she agreed to work this blog job much to her dismay.
the Variety Show starts now!
Act 1: YumJared Sugar Sweet Free Day
It’s a Yum Yucky and AntiJared team charity event in support the Juvenile Diabetes Association! On Wednesday, June 23th the YumJared Team is challenging you to go sugarless AND artificial sweetener-free for one little measly day. Can you do that for charity? On the day of the event, visit either blog to join the challenge and make your monetary pledge (no amount is too small). All of your generously pledged proceeds will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Association in support of a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
Act 2: The Delaware News Journal
Have you seen it? The Delaware News Journal caught on to the No Sugar Experiment and invited Josie to write about it for the paper. If you missed it, check out here in PDF…increase the magnification of the PDF page if it’s too small to read.
Act 3: Yum Yucky’s No Sugar e-book and Giveaway!
It’s coming your way, my friends! The e-Book does not have an official title yet, but it’s in production. The No Sugar Experiment has taken on a life of it’s own. People are blogging about it, and doing their own sweet-free experiments, and sending emails with awesome comments and questions, so the No Sugar movement is expanding! The e-book will bring you even MORE sweet goodness packed with information to help you tame the Sugar Beast while keeping you wildly entertained in Yum Yucky-style!
The tentative release date is August 2010, and it will be launched with a HUGE giveaway prize pack like you’ve never seen ’round here before. You will be drooling to win this prize, so stay tuned for the e-book release and Godzilla-sided Giveaway.
You’re gonna love it, so stay tuned.
Disclaimer: Cassandra the Mystical Maiden was given $500 worth of sugar packets as payment to host this Sugar Sludge Variety Show. Her car is still broke down, but she is very happy.

I didn’t think I could love a pic more than the ninja pic, but this is close. I just, hmm, two days ago maybe, three, went off all sugar and artificial sweeteners, just stevia on occasion. Feeling great!

Excellent cause! We could all go with a little less sugar in our lives. I should go without a LOT, lol.
