Tasting! Ritz Munchables Pretzel Crisps

Are hybrid processed foods becoming all the rage? They squeezed the cracker inside the pretzel. And then they squashed it flat.

Ritz Munchables Pretzel Crisps confuse the flavor sensors in my brain and cause mindless munching to occur even though I’m not impressed. It’s two age-old foods smashed together into one. I could stuff my mouth with a pretzel and cracker and get the same result. But I’d have to stuff more pretzels because the cracker doesn’t taste that strong.

It’s thin and light (about one inch wide). It’s got a nice crispy crunch with buttery flavor. Yet I don’t care to eat anymore because I have better ways to blow 140 calories. But the Greedy Family loves them.

Get it in Buttery Flavor or Cheesy Sour Cream & Onion.

REACTIONS FROM THE TASTE TEST CREW

Health-hater Husband: Nice and crisp. I can taste the buttery cracker part. Cool.

Greedy Kid #1: I think the idea is stupid. Oh wait. I actually like it. Not salty. Nice and buttery, yet not overpowering. I mostly taste the pretzel.

Greedy Kid #2: (He’s too busy puking. No tasting for him today.)

Greedy Kid #3: I like it. Because I just do.

YUM UP! to: Spending 140 calories on Peanut M&M’s instead of pretzel-crackers.

YUCK DOWN to: Confused flavor sensors.

Those sound a bit addicting! I can’t buy stuff like that myself. I once bought a box of crackers that were two sided like that. One side was pretzel and the other was a cracker . . . Not good.

One sitting and I’d eaten a whole box . . . Ugh . . . SO YUMMY though!

@Em, I tried them…they were stale tasting. BOTH SIDES!

I just saw a coupon for these today and I was curious… doesn’t sound like it’ necessarily worth it anyways. Thanks for the review!

I LOVE YOUR NEW SITE!!!! It makes my eyeballs real happy ;)

I was tempted to buy those Ritz, but refrained since the only Greedy in the house is ME. The husband and kids probably wouldn’t touch them.

I haven’t been getting your feeds either :(

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your new site!!! It looks great!

Personally, I think the original Ritz crackers are perfect… there’s no need for them to start making all this crazy stuff!

Sounds like it would be yummy but not worth the gluten induced stomach ache it would surely bring!

I just saw a commercial for these yesterday or the day before (which is hard, because I don’t have tv, I watch shows online). I thought it looked kind of interesting. Yet, I rarely eat either crackers OR pretzels so I doubt id end up wanting to eat both at once.

Not as good as either a Ritz or a pretzel!

It’s a good thing these were a bonus freebie on my grocery order. I’d be upset if I had to pay for these nasty tasting things.
