You better Leggo My Eggo! Somebody from Nutri Grain threw some brownish
tint and grainy specks on a bunch of Eggos and slapped the words “Whole Wheat” and “Whole Grain” on the box. So it is legit?
Ahh, yes it is. A regular Eggo can only meet up with my mouth out of hungry
desperation, but their wheaty Nutri-Grain version is a healthier on-the-go option. It’s taste resembles wheat bread, but there’s no mistake that you’re eating a waffle. It’s also denser and did a great job of quenching my post-dinner hunger pangs (plain, no syrup).
But for all my friends who have Kashi Waffles on the brain, I’ll be happy to try those when the lame stores in my area start selling them. Kashi’s Mercedes Benz nutritional profile makes Eggo Whole Wheat look like a 1970’s Gremlin.

Greedy Kid #2 – Mom, I’m only trying this as a favor to you…eh, tastes nasty.
Yum UP! to: Brownish tints and grainy specks….but only on food.
Yuck Down to: Post-dinner hunger pangs (or maybe that’s a good thing).
