The sexual innuendo in the ad isn’t the only absurdity when it comes to Burger King’s new behemoth, BK Super Seven Incher. Burger King is promoting their newest sandwich as a means to “fill your desire for something long, juicy and flame-grilled….yearn for more after you taste the mind-blowing burger that comes with a single beef patty, topped with American cheese, crispy onions and the A-1 Thick & Hearty Steak Sauce.”

But What About the Calories!?

Apparently, even Burger King employees are scratching their heads. It’s no surprise that I found zero nutrition information on the Burger King website, so I called Burger King’s headquarters in Miami, Florida to get the scoop. The conversation went something like this….

Josie: I don’t see the calories for your Seven Incher on the website. Can you tell me how many it contains?

BK Rep: Sure, I have that right here. Can you hold on a sec?

Josie: Okay.

BK Rep: Well it looks like the sandwich is so new that we don’t have that information yet. It’s only a regional item, but once it goes
nationwide we will have the nutrition information on our website.

Well thanks for nothing! It’s absurd that you can formulate a sandwich in your lab and pimp it out to the people, yet hold back the nutritional information. My guess is 1000 or more calories. It’s Burger King’s dirty little secret….for now.

  2. Melanie says:

Wow, not hard to guess who their target market is for that meal! But the GGS girls want to know that age old question: “where’s the beef, honey?”
Seriously, the “fat” food joints need to wake up and smell the organics! C’mon guys, less calories, more healthy items!

  3. Looks like they are taking after Carls Jr. with their ads! After a specific market & it seems to work for Carls so I am sure BK will get some sales off of this. F-in ridiculous that they could not answer your question! They had the info & did not want it known! Unfortunately, this type of advertising works for that target market.

  4. Oh, you have to be kidding me. That is disgusting (and I WORK in marketing). Ew.
Burger King has definitely never marketed themselves as healthy. I think they knew they couldn’t compete.

I did some more digging and found that this sandwich is only being marketed in Singapore right now, but it has the potential to hit us Nationwide and is still no excuse for keeping those calories a secret!

  6. I’m totally grossed out. Go GET’EM Josie! :)

  7. This is food PORN for sure. Except it fails because EWWWW. I’m sure that has a ridiculous amount of calories in it.

  8. FatFighter says:
