The Calorie Game: Cheetos & Mountain Dew
May 6th, 2009 • 13 Comments | Leave a Comment »
Ooo-la-la. Look at the pretty colors. It’s Artificial Orange and Sugar-laden Green disguised as Cheetos and Mountain Dew!
How many calories does it take to taste the bitter truth that this stuff ain’t no damn good for your body?
- 380 calories – Cheetos 2.4 ounce package
- 290 calories – Mountain Dew 20 ounce soda
*Price Paid – $2.49
*Total Calories – 670
In my long ago unbridled Greedy days I ate a bag of Cheetos everyday at work…and swelled my fat cells to the tune of 15 extra pounds in one year. Can I have a do-over and take that back?

Those numbers are frightening. It makes me think back to my childhood days and now understand why nothing ever quite fit right on me.
I really can’t remember the last time i had a cheeto though. Been a while.

i think the real sad thing is, is those are the calories in a full meal for the day, and after eating this small bag and a dew, you’ll still be left unsatisfied!

Not on my list for foods in my house or out of my house!!! UGH! I would put those calories & fat to a good ole cookie for my treat! As for my hubby, he likes his soda but has cut way back so that is a good thing!

Hey Joe! Your welcome. Joe’s recent post is about inner beauty, which is a great read coming from a manly-man.

What’s really nasty is when you see a kid that didn’t brush his teeth eat Cheetos. The cheesy stuff sticks to the plaque. Ewwww!

HA! I’m LMAO!
I got a call from home – the kids are fighting over who gets to eat that bag of Cheetos. I told them to “keep it closed”!!! Never said they could have it.

And you can see the orange stuff in their fingernails too. Double the nasty!

You gotta lick that part out and kinda use your teeth to clean under your nails. hahahaha! Triple nastiness.

So, I need some help. One of my co-workers is addicted to food, especially cheetos and mountain dew. In fact that’s his breakfast every morning. I am afraid for his own well being. His health is now in jeopardy and I don’t know how to tell him enough is enough. I think his finger tips are starting to be permanently stained orange. He licks them thinking there is still some cheese flavoring left on them and even digs under his finger nails for leftovers.
I need some advice as to how i should approach him or if i should just let him turn into a cheeto.
