I already gnawed on Florida’s Natural Au’some Fruit Stiks, so could their Fruit Nuggets be all that different? I didn’t think so, and I bought myself a pack purely for personal enjoyment.
But these things are damn good!
Fruit Nuggets’ shape resembles oversized chiclets candy, the kind I use to eat back in the 80′s as a skinny kid with an afro (I hated that hair-do). They have a quasi-hard exterior yet its easy to bite down into the soft chewy center. Ooo..strawberry.
Nuggets have a perfect sweetness that tastes more like real fruit juice than anything artificial. This gives substance to the “made with 66% real juices & fruit” claim. It’s definitely not a sugar-ridden snack. The Greedy Family ate the entire box (all 8 packages) in less than 24 hours.
